Quark is European style fresh cheese, it has greek yoghurt-like qualities and is very creamy. It is most often enjoyed as a dessert or eaten at breakfast. It is slighty tart flavour, and is very rich and smooth. It has a higher protein content than yoghurt. It can be used in baking, as a breakfast, or as a substitute for sour cream to make dips.
